Exi has got his working certificate. Now he can be registered in the working class at exhibitions.

On 9 November Exi and Quax took part in the World Dog Show in Poznań. In the champions class Exi was awarded 'excellent'. Quax was awarded 'very promising 3rd'.

On 26 and 28 August Exi took part in the International Tracking Contest for Dachshunds in Grębowo. He wasn't very succesful on the second day, however on the first day of the contest he was awarded a second degree certificate. Despite pouring rain (he doesn't always agree to go out on such days, let alone work) he got 80/100 poits and was fifth.

On Sunday he also took part in the Dachshud Club Show. In the champions class Exi was awarded "excellent 3rd".

Exi has become Polish Champion!

There's been one more important change in his life. On 20 June we bought a puppy from the German kennel Delbrueggers. His name is Quax and he will be three months old tomorrow. They soon became friends. You can see them play in the gallery.

Recently we have been with Exi to the Tracking Dogs Training organized by Mrs Joanna Bohdziun in Sulejów. You can see a couple of pictures in the gallery

A Dachshund Club show took place on Saturday, 4 June in Środa Śląska. Exi was awarded "excellent 1st" (2 dogs in his class) and won a gold medal.

International Dog Show - Łódź 06-07.05.2006:
Qualification: excellent;
Place: 2 (4 participants), silver medal;
Description: 28 months old, beautiful head, nice dark eyes, well set ears, good bite, well carried neck, straight back, very good angulation, good movement;
Judge: Dr. Orietta Zilli (Italy).

At the International Dog Show in Opolu Exi was awarded "excellent 1st" (there were 4 dogs in his class) and CWC.

Although not very pleased with the weather, he behaved well in the show ring.

He was fascinated by the "bait" for the dachshund race but later refused to run. :)
